CANADIAN SPIRIT FESTIVAL

CANADIAN SPIRIT FESTIVAL 2014 – July 19 & 20 – Kelso Beach, Owen Sound

The Canadian Spirit Festival is one of the main events of the Canadian Spirit project. This annual, multi-arts Festival will include an expanded culinary arena in 2014 called Homegrown. The ethos behind Homegrown is just as the name implies…all things homegrown. From culinary vendors, to craft beer, wine and spirits, to a farmers’ market, cooking demonstrations featuring talented local chefs, musicians and entertainers…Homegrown will celebrate the taste of our region.

In addition to Homegrown, the Canadian Spirit Festival plays host to an interactive artists alley, varied entertainment at the Kelso Beach Amphitheatre, youth and family friendly art workshops, First Nations programming curated in partnership with Saugeen First Nation, PLUS educational based, hands on programming from Elephant Thoughts.
